Who is Nolita?

Noilta is Veronica Nobuhle (“Beautiful”) Mngomezulu, born in 1966, a spiritual healer well known in Imizamo Yethu and beyond for her compassionate approach to individual and community healing. She had the calling to Spirit work at the tender age of 13. Her diverse experience draws on different traditions, includiong Church work through the AZC (african Zoinist Church) and is formally trained since 2000 through the THO (Traditional Healthcare Organization) with direct guidance from its head, Dr. Maseko. She is as comfortable conducting her incredible private insight sessions with clients whether reading the Bible or Throwing the Bones. Her organisation, Sinelita (“I am Nolita” aims to facilitate development across the divides in Imizamo Yethu through Health, Education, Substance Abuse, Children’s Projects and a holds a vision to build a sustainable community wellness centre for the township.
